Course Premise & Outline

Course Premise

This seminar aims to sketch out the business value of design and translate that potential to your specific situation. This requires an active role for you.

We assume that you know about design superficially and that it caught your business interest. We will keep it simple and actionable.

This seminar is not:

  • A crash course on design. You don’t have to do design yourself. Leave that to professional designers.

  • A crash course in design management. You don’t have to manage it on a day-by-day basis. Leave that to professional design managers.

  • A promotion tour for design. Let’s discuss where it can deliver value and where not.

Course Outline

The seminar is divided in seven modules, each module deals with one topic.

  • After some stage-setting, these topics will be discussed together, plenary or in small groups.

  • Following the modules, you will step-by-step produce your own individual Design Value Profile using a template delivered by us.
