We promise to immerse you in a powerful blend of ideas that will transform your career and enterprise. Whether you are a established master or an up-and-coming disrupter, creative director or CEO, left- or right-brainer, this is your chance to (re)mix with the other side.

Thoughts on DMI's Education Conference
Design Thinking: New Challenges for Designers, Managers and Organizations
ESSEC Business School, Cergy-Pontoise, France, April 14-15, 2008
By Lisa Cox, Brand Engagement Strategist
I wish every designer had the opportunity to experience the DMI Education Conference that was held this April in Paris. Attending the conference proved to be inspirational on many levels. First, to be with such a large collection of other design thinkers, it was uplifting to find a warm sense of community. East/West Perspectives on Design Management Issues
Design Management Journal, Volume 3, No. 1, 2008
DMI is pleased to announce the publication of a new issue of DMI's peer-reviewed academic publication, the Design Management Journal. The articles for this issue were drawn from the D2B First International Design Management Symposium, held in Shanghai in 2006, in which the future role of design management theory and practice was considered from a variety of perspectives based on design to business. The issue was edited by Patricia Sterry of the University of Salford, along with an editorial board consisting of Alex Williams, Mark O'Brien, Ruth Cross, and Thomas Lockwood.
Formerly known as the Design Management Academic Review, the Journal is sent to all Design Management Review subscribers and all DMI members. Articles for the Journal usually emerge from DMI academic conferences or from other academic conferences that DMI collaborates with. A scientific committee reviews the papers and selects the research that is most worthy of publishing. DMI's goal is to publish one issue of the Journal per year, although in 2008 there will be two issues published.
